Pretty Vulgar is a book about life. It explores the life of a person who at first if unsure of their existence in the world today. Pretty Vulgar follows the author on a journey to find her true self as a part of the LGBT community, and a masculine presenting woman. The book leads up to where she sees herself within this world, not only with her partner, but in a happier state. Pretty Vulgar is an exploration of gender norms, identity, and a glance into the world of the author. The book is written anonymously; therefore it’s not relatable to one person, it’s universal.
