Alina Bobrova is a Russian-Jewish conceptual artist. Her practice spans a broad range of media including photography, sculpture, performance, video, printmaking and drawing.

Come On Out of the Dark is an ongoing project that documents ubiquitous domestic objects that live in a place of darkness, silence and powerlessness. The series also questions the objects’ gendered associations by using a multidisciplinary approach: an archival system, concrete poetry and sculpture.
