MFA Photography Alumna Melissa Fleming (’06) will be exhibiting her work in a group exhibition, “Visualizing Climate Change.” She will be showing images from her ongoing series on American Glaciers. Fleming will also be giving a special lecture on November 16, called “The Art and Science of Climate Change.” Fleming describes her work in American Glaciers:

Blending my two worlds, this slide presentation explores how art can help broaden the public conversation and create new pathways to understanding this critical issue.  It will introduce the basic science of climate change and explore how artists from around the globe are reacting to its diverse impacts and possible solutions.  –Melissa Fleming
