Michelle Gevint (MFA ’14) interviewed in the Columbia blog, Art Culture Beat

For her final project as an MFA candidate in the photography department at Parsons, Michelle Claire Gevint will not be snapping a single shot. She is joining the ongoing discussion on photography today by setting aside the camera and turning instead to the wealth of images readily available on the Internet. In turning to image aggregation and manipulation, Gevint hopes to “undermine the credibility of the photograph, its existence as a document of truth and as evidence of reality.”
