Photographer Marco Bell went to the heart of Caracas, Venezuela, to portray the smallness of citizens before the law and its institutions.
The Towers of Silence, where the main criminal courts of the capital, as well as the former Directorate of Identification and Immigration (DIEX), among other bureaucratic institutions, seemed to be the perfect place to effectively show its place. However, after extensive photo shoot, and revealed, he realized it was another theme that emerged spontaneously from the images. It was the decline of these institutions, reflected perfectly in the state of its facilities. Thus he was born this series, titled The children of Bolívar.
