The project Live Streaming Sunset is the second iteration of 2,906.6 miles or 3 hours and one in a series of projected projects to track the sunset across the globe, creating an ongoing 24 hour setting sun, an eternal present. The piece captures sunsets in all 4 time zones across the continental US, tracking the sun in real time, switching zones right before it disappears from the sky. The sunset becomes a stretched out moment, collapsing distance and time, as it unfurls across the continent.

Located on the corner of 13th Street and 5th Ave in Manhattan. Streaming August 20 – September 11, 2014, 7 – 11pm.
