As 2014 is the 100th anniversary of the Passenger Pigeon’s extinction, pay homage by brushing up on the history of this and other extinct North American Birds.

The entire installation of A Field Guide to the Extinct and Extirpated Birds of North America is now on view at Montgomery College’s King Street Gallery as part of the exhibition In Balance. The exhibition runs through January 30.

John’s book is a finalist in the New York Photo Awards, and will be exhibited in the 2013 New York Photo Awards Finalists Exhibition at the Powerhouse Arena. They’ll be exhibiting the book alongside ten printed spreads.
