Giese will be one of a few selected artists to create a site-specific response to the Governor Ames Estate in North Easton, MA. The Trustees of Reservations preserve, for public use and enjoyment, properties of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value in Massachusetts. Giese will be creating new skiagrams, lumen prints and a sound composition in response to the Governor Ames house and the grounds of the estate in accordance with the theme, “Bringing the Outdoors In.” The entire first floor of the house will be transformed, and the installations will be open to the public August 19-28, 2016.
