AMT is holding its divisional ceremonies on Thursday, May 22. The schedule is outline below. The divisional ceremonies will include speeches from your director, one of your peers, potentially a guest speaker, as well as awards for departmental honors. All of your names will be called and you will walk up and receive your “diploma” (which is actually just a placeholder, as the real ones are mailed to you over the summer). Students do not wear gowns for the divisional ceremony and no tickets are required, but early arrival is encouraged.
Please note that the open house reception is running all day long (starting at noon) in the Sheila Johnson Design Center, in the lobby of 2 West 13th Street. We encourage everyone to stop by after their ceremonies to celebrate with their peers.
The University Commencement will take place on Friday, May 23 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden at 11:00 a.m. For further information about the University Commencement, including information about speakers and tickets, please visit the website at http://www.newschool.edu/commencement/.
