Kristin Poor is Curator at Arts and Letters in New York, where her recent projects include solo exhibitions with Wadada Leo Smith, Teresa Baker, and Diane Simpson, and Jonathan Gonzalez’s performance Spectral Dances. She is an art historian and curator who has previously held curatorial positions at Dia Art Foundation, Princeton University Art Museum, and Bernstein Gallery (Princeton School of Public and International Affairs), and a research position in the Department of Photography at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. She was Assistant Director for Curatorial Research at the Joan Jonas Knowledge Base and is co-editor of Joan Jonas: Next Move in a Mirror World (Dia Art Foundation, 2023). Her writing has appeared in Aperture, The Burlington, and Art Asia Pacific, and she has contributed essays to exhibition catalogues including Judson Dance Theater: The Work is Never Done (MoMA, 2018). Kristin holds a B.A. in art history from Columbia University and an M.A. from Princeton University, where she is a PhD candidate.
