Parsons Fine Arts Visiting Artists Lecture Series – Weds. 9/30 – R.H. Quaytman

R.H. Quaytman is best known for her sumptuous and philosophical painting installations that use abstract and photographic elements. She generates her work through a systematic, overarching approach that conceptually resembles a book, in which each successive exhibition is a “chapter”. Her solo exhibitions include Gladstone Gallery, NY; Tel Aviv Museum of Art; The Renaissance Society, Chicago; Kunsthalle Basel, Switzerland; SFMOMA; ICA Boston; Vilma Gold Gallery, London; Momenta Art, NY; Neuberger Museum, NY; Miguel Abreu Gallery, Miami; and Galerie Daniel Buchholz, Cologne, Germany.
