MFA Alum Fernando Do Campo and Shan Turner-Carroll Shortlisted for 2017 NSW Fellowship

Fernando Do Campo MFA Fine Arts ’16 and Shan Turner-Carroll MFA Fine Arts international exchange student 15/16 have been named one of the nine emerging visual artists shortlisted for the 2017 NSW Visual Arts Fellowship (Emerging) from the NSW Government Australia through Create NSW in partnership with Artspace Sydney
The Fellowship is awarded annually to enable an emerging artist in the early stages of their career to undertake a self-directed program of professional development (such as research, further study and internships) across the course of two years.

The group will now develop works for a collaborative exhibition to be held at Artspace in Woolloomooloo, Sydney, from November 8th to December 9th this year, where an assessment panel will announce a final recipient for the Fellowship.
