Jumpstart or rekindle your writing practice and confidence in a lovely, inspiring, and inspired space, lead by The New School MFA Creative Writing Alumnus, AWA Affiliate and Parsons staff member, Leslie Fierro. 

Located between the vibrant Carroll Gardens and Red Hook neighborhoods of Brooklyn, NY, the Jalopy Theatre and School of Music has been home to musicians, artists, neighborhood locals, far-flung travelers and more than a few writers since its doors opened in 2006. We’ll be in one of the cozy upstairs classrooms appointed with vintage instruments from around the world. 

*Note, no workshops on 11/19 or 11/26 – take-home prompts and opportunities for manuscript review and critique will be available at no extra cost!

$250 for the full session, including snacks and a drink ticket good for a draft beer, well cocktail, coffee, juice or soft drink from the Jalopy Tavern with every workshop. The New School students, alumni and staff get a $25 discount!
