Attending a workshop gives  the Fine Arts Shops. Wood and Metal Workshops are given. The Wood Workshop introduces you to the facilities as well as the wood working machines and hand tools that are available. It is mandatory for use of any of the facilities. The Metal Workshop is not mandatory. It is for those who specifically want to access the metal shop. Workshops are 1 to 11/2 hours long. After completion of the workshop participants sign a liability waiver which is kept on file. Workshops are given in the facility on the 4th floor of 25 east 13th Street. There will be three rounds of workshops this semester.
