JOB OPPORTUNITY: Web Designer, The New School for Social Research, Department of Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy at the New School for Social Research seek a Web Designer (WD) to help redesign the department website in WordPress and implement the site on the Parsons server. A basic WordPress template has already been created, and it will be the task of the WD to incorporate the information from the model into an effective, dynamic, and visually pleasing design.

The WD must be able to work independently and have experience with WordPress. A web design portfolio is preferable, and strong graphic design skills are a plus.

The WD will be compensated $20/hr, for approximately 30 hours of work. Some further funds may be available for updates to the website as the site is tested, if the student is interested.

We are attempting to have a version of the site up and running by mid September, and therefore, availability during the early part of the semester is necessary.
