Domaine de Boisbuchet is a unique, off-the-wall design eldorado situated on the French countryside. On the occasion of it’s 25th workshop anniversary, the exceptional institute teams up with WantedDesign to launch a competition where two places are to be won for Boisbuchet’s Summer Workshops 2015.
Boisbuchet organizes every summer a series of interdisciplinary workshops, where students and professionals from all over the world come together for a week of experimental work with renowned designers, architects and artists.
The program 2015 runs under the moto of Design and the Community and features outstanding tutors such as Humberto Campana, Bart Hess, Jaime Hayon, Jo Nagasaka, Studio Swine, Bethan Laura Wood, Go Hasegawa, Cecilie Manz, Josh Owen, Philippe Malouin, Alvaro Siza, Prem Krishnamurthy, Bless and many others.
The terms and conditions for our competition are:
– Each participant must be over 18 years old and inscribed as a student at a US university.
– He / She must send to info@wanteddesignnyc.com as well as to info@boisbuchet.org in one single email: a CV (including a scan of the valid student’s ID) and a 250 words paragraph about his / her interest in participating in Boisbuchet’s 2015 workshops.
– The competition runs from April 5th until May 1st.
– The members of this competition’s jury are US designer Josh Owen, WantedDesign’s principal Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, and Boisbuchet’s president Alexander von Vegesack.
– The competition’s 2 winners receive each one gratis place in a Boisbuchet 2015 summer workshop (worth 835,- €), selected by the winner amongst those workshops of the 2015 program where places at www.boisbuchet.org are still available.
– The two winners will be notified and announced at Industry City during WantedDesign’s Forum on design education on Tuesday, May 19th
