The Humanities Action Lab (http://humanitiesactionlab.org/) seeks students to help launch its national digital project, States of Incarceration, a collaboration among over 500 students and people directly affected by incarceration exploring the past, present and future of incarceration in 20 cities across the country.

During the Fall 2015 semester students from The New School and across the country developed multimedia content — including videos, audio interviews, digital essays, and slide shows — on the topic of incarceration in the United States. We need help integrating these hundreds of media pieces into a single web platform.

Students should be able to commit 15-20 hours a week through March 31.  Students do not need programming skills, but preferably should be comfortable using Wordpress or other basic blog software (posting not customizing). Some experience with Photoshop would be helpful.  Compensation is $15-20/hour depending on skills and the amount of time students are able to commit.

Students will join a fun and energetic team, have flexible hours, and produce work for their portfolio.

Please complete this survey to indicate your interest and availability by Friday, March 4.  Students who complete the survey earlier will receive preference.
