David Samuel, a writer in Brooklyn Heights is looking for a summertime nanny/art teacher in Brooklyn Heights. See job description below and contact David directly at dsamuels1@gmail.com if interested.

This is for my two bright, younger children, ages 4.5 and 8.5. The job would run from early May to late August, and would be ideal for a younger art student who is responsible, likes to teach children and has some experience with younger kids.

My 4.5 year old daughter is a talented younger artist (to my surprise); my 8.5 year old son is a voracious reader and good learner, if less visibly gifted in the visual arts. Since both kids will be in camp for the mornings — and my son in the afternoons — it will be relatively light work, with a pick-up component, and then a teaching/activity component. There will also be opportunity for family travel, if the student is interested. Pay would be $12-15 an hour, plus an end of summer bonus. There is also a possibility for studio space.
