PenPalery: A Cross Country Exchange
Advanced sculpture students from UC Berkeley and Parsons, The New School for Design were asked to give a prompt to a student across the country which considered landscape and location. Working through written language only, the students negotiated their progress and its outcomes through email, materiality and process. The evidence of these projects culminated in a group exhibition at the Worth Ryder Gallery on UC Berkeley’s campus from March 14-24, 2012.
This project was developed for the Parsons 3D Topics Seminar titled, Collaborative Production Models (led by Shane Aslan Selzer) and the UC Berkeley Senior Sculpture Seminar (led by Brody Reiman).
