The candidate will work with team that is building the Collaboratory Digital Forum and would code advanced modifications into an existing SquareSpace site.
The Collaboratory Digital Forum, a university initiative, will improve knowledge- and resource-sharing as well as collaboration across the University and with outside partners. In addition, and equally as important, it will enable the university to position itself as an intellectual hub for public scholarship and greatly increase the University’s visibility as the destination for socially engaged-education and learning.
Responsibilities
– Code modifications to the SquareSpace site based off of design mock-ups
Requirements
– Strong command of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
– Experience adding custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to existing templates in SquareSpace
– Knowledge and experience of the SquareSpace platform
– 1-2 years designing for web sites and web interfaces – must be able to clearly demonstrate current web design experience with live online examples
