Fine Arts Assistant Position / 14 hours a week / $13/hour
The Parsons/AMT/Fine Arts office is looking for a 1st year graduate student to be an assistant to the BFA director and assist in general office support, program organization and planning, and student communications. The student should be available for three semesters.
Job Requirements include a capacity to work independently and self driven with strong organizational and administrative talent, computer skills in Word processing, spreadsheets and simple design tasks (Indesign, Photoshop). Applicants should be able to efficiently organize and translate tasks given to her/him by the director. They should also enjoy engaging with the diverse Fine Art student population during front desk duties and be able to direct students toward the appropriate university service. Other tasks include but are not limited to helping to support and organize Fine Arts events and meetings; assisting with the review scheduling, and distribution of group e-mails via Mail Chimp. We are looking for students who are interested and excited to work within our creative community.
