Come and learn about the complex interrelationship between sound, psychology and our senses from Alex Joseph the a world-renowned sound designer and foley supervisor responsible for the sonic life of numerous films including Harry Potter, Casino Royale, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, and recently the acclaimed Iranian horror movie Under the Shadow. He employs his knowledge of perception and the mind, sparked by his background in psychology, to subtle and sometimes subversive ends. Join us for this lecture and screening that explores the intersection of sound and the psyche.
