JLL EARTH DAY T- SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

Purpose: The purpose of the design competition is to create a unique custom T-shirt design that will be purchased by Jones Lang LaSalle employees as part of their earth day initiative. Net Proceeds of the t-shirt sales will benefit the Parsons School of Design, Empowerhouse and Habitat for Humanity.

Goal: To raise $25,000 in support of the Parsons School of Design Empower House. http://parsit.parsons.edu/

Award: $1,000 will go to the student whose t-shirt design is selected

T-Shirt Design Guidelines:
– The t-shirt should stress concepts associated with Earth Day but should also be general enough that it could be worn year round.
– The only required element in the t-shirt is the JLL Logo which has been included in this email as a pdf attachment. You can open this in Illustrator and grab it from there. Pay careful attention to the guidelines for using the logo. Other logos that could also be included but are not required include, Habitat for Humanity, Washington Region, Parsons The New School for Design, and Stevens Institute of Technology.
– If using multiple logos, please minimize them.
– Include the year 2011 in the design. Make the message generic enough that it can be used throughout the year.
– Word concepts could include: reduce carbon footprint, solar power, passive house, super insulated, day light, clean air, zero water runoff, food roof top gardening, organic produce.
– T-shirts with front and back designs are preferred.
– Be aware that images from internet searches are not a good idea for reasons of resolution and copyright. The artwork should be your own.
