Research Assistant needed for website re-design and other small web development tasks for June and July. The site to be redesigned—Fashion Projects—is run on a WordPress platform, so this position will be best suited for someone familiar with WordPress.
Fashion Projects is a non-profit journal that highlights the importance of fashion within current critical discourse. It was founded in New York in 2005 by editor Francesca Granata, It has received grants from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. The journal’s website, fashionprojects.org, was among the first scholarly websites about fashion, and continues to maintain an active presence between issues.
The Research Assistantship is paid through the Parsons Student Research Funds.. The total funds available for the project are $1500.
