POSITION: Research Assistant / Developer
SKILLS: Solid knowledge of python or C++ and web development environment using mySQL, html, css, javascript. Experience in Django or open source development a plus.

DESCRIPTION: We’re looking for a 1st Yr MFA DT student to join our fantastic team as research assistant / developer for DataMyne, an open-source online platform to connect, visualize and integrate the
academic community of The New School. This is a faculty initiated project that has increasingly received support for several years, and will be expanding as an official release this upcoming year. http://mining.parsons.edu

The team meets weekly throughout the year, and the workload will average to be 20 hrs/week. Applicants should anticipate a year-long commitment, though we are flexible in accommodating other commitments.
