The Red Cross Collab Studio at Parsons was interested in the social responsibility and agency of design, designers and design thinking. Partnering with the Red Cross we developed communicative strategies and prototypes to assist in resolving some of their immediate and longer-range concerns. The projects involved strategizing outcomes and scenarios through the lens of design and the projects stem from current real world concerns. Our concerns operated at three different scales; the local level (the New York Chapter of the American Red Cross), the national level (the American Red Cross) and the international level (The Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre).

The course was run by Mathan Ratinam and Nigel Snoad.
