PRINT magazine’s website, www.Printmag.com, was designed in a collaborative studio class led by full-time faculty Andrea Dezsö.
(Quote below is from Print’s website in 2005)
“PRINT is proud to present its new website, a long time in the making (our previous design, circa 1997, was practically retro-hip). The new site was designed in collaboration with Design and Technology MFA students at New York City’s Parsons The New School for Design last spring. Led by instructor (and PRINT contributor) Andrea Dezsö, 15 students spent a full semester reworking the site from top to bottom.
Consulting weekly with editor-in-chief Joyce Rutter Kaye and then-art director Stephanie Skirvin on PRINT’s goals and vision for the site, the students divided into small teams to compile research on the site’s audience, user experience, community-building capabilities, and other features. By semester’s end, the team zeroed in on a single cohesive, flexible, user-friendly design that visually complements the printed magazine’s redesign of 2005 by Abbott Miller of Pentagram.
PRINT would like to thank Andrea Dezsö and her students for their creativity, innovation, and teamwork.”
