petlab_senegal_redcross_gameIn December, PETLab, Parsons’ and Games for Change’s public interest game design and research lab , made international impact as two card games designed by the PETLab team for the international Red Cross to address climate change response were played in St. Louis, Senegal and at the climate change megaconference in Copenhagen.

In St. Louis, Senegal, one of the African cities most threatened by climate change, climate scientists, Red Cross staff, and community members played the game “Early Warning, Early Action.” Check out the video below!

At the Copenhagen summit, a short, adapted version called “Forecast->Evacuation?,” was used to open the session on climate information and humanitarian work on December 13.
