The Parsons Fine Arts program is pleased to host Susanne Kriemann as a visiting scholar/artist in AMT this semester. Susanne will be giving a presentation on her practice and research on Monday, November 2nd from 10:30am -12 noon.

Susanne Kriemann is an artist working and living in Berlin. Her works have been shown internationally, at venues that include the 5th Berlin Biennial, Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin, (2008, D), Berlinische Galerie (2010, D), Kunsthalle Winterthur (2011, CH), Kunstverein Braunschweig (2012, D), Arnolfini, Bristol (2013, UK), the MCA Chicago (2013, USA), Kunsthalle Bremen (2014, D), Extracity Antwerp (BE, 2014), the 55th October Salon, Belgrade (2014), Presentation House Gallery Vancouver (2015, CA), 6th Moscow Biennale/ Nadezdha (2015, RU), Albertinum Dresden (2015, D).
In 2010, Susanne won the GASAG artprize for art and science. She was also nominated for the Kunstpreis der Böttcherstrasse in 2014.
In 2010 she co-founded AIR Berlin Alexanderplatz, an artist in residency in Berlin with a focus on research-related practices. www.airberlinalexanderplatz.com
She is currently preparing for solo exhibitions at the Schering Stiftung-Berlin and Prefix ICA in Toronto, for the spring of 2016.
