Eight out of sixteen of Design and Technology faculty Ken Tanabe’s Motion Graphics 3 students (Fall 2012) have been selected by The 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT gallery in Tokyo for the exhibit, “Name The Tree.” This is being presented within the larger exhibition, “Color-Hunting,” directed by Dai Fujiwara, former Creative Director of top Japanese fashion design label Issey Miyake. The exhibition opens on 6/21/13 and runs until 10/6/13.
The 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT building is in Roppongi, Tokyo and was designed by famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando, and the Gallery Directors are three of Japan’s most famous designers: Issey Miyake, Taku Satoh, and Naoto Fukasawa, with Associate Director Noriko Kawakami.
