Parsons The New School for Design, a division of The New School, seeks a full-time Web Administrator to work in the Parsons Deans’ Office. This is a fulltime administration and project-oriented position designed to support the ongoing maintenance and development of digital media, on both the informational/promotional and instructional level. This position reports to the Associate Director of Academic Communications, and will also receive guidance and supervision from the Associate Dean for Technology and Distributed Education on various project work.

The Web Administrator will help design and deliver a functional web infrastructure that meets the needs of a complex, urban school of art and design. The position is based in the Office of the Dean, but works closely with staff, faculty, and student technical designers from across Parsons. The position supports the Academic Communications staff, who serve as Parsons’ liaison with the online media team of The New School’s Communications and External Affairs (CEA) department which provides in-house publicity, promotion, writing, design, broadcast, and web facility and coordinates the administration of the primary Parsons web site http://www.newschool.edu/parsons.
