Jesse Patrick Martin recently alerted us to an awesome exhibit in a new Bushwick gallery that’s featuring the work of many of our esteemed alumni. Martin is the co-director of the gallery and a 2008 MFA graduate of Parsons. The gallery is Honey Ramka––and their inaugural group exhibition, The Crystal Cracked, opens this Friday, September 6th @ 6-9pm. This show highlights works that are of a fractured, cosmic, or fantastical bent. Like prisms splintering their own light, the artworks rally fragments into curious constellations that reassert the sublimity of brokenness. And accompanying this exhibition in the project space is Bardo, featuring paintings by Linnea Paskow.
