Rabia Malik (MFA DT 2009), Interactive Creative Director at Proximate Global Inc., is currently looking for a freelance graphic/web designer and a freelance game designer to work with them on a project to project basis at Proximate Global.

About PGI:
Founded in May 2009, Proximate Global Inc. (PGI) is a U.S.-based corporation with offices in New York and Karachi. The company’s initial product is face2face, launched in summer 2010. face2face is a proximity based mobile social networking application. face2face allows you to find friends nearby and protects your privacy. We recently launched our application and currently exist on the iPhone, Android, Blackberry as well as J2ME phones. We plan to take this mobile application into the game realm soon. PGI has attracted US$1 MM in investments and is currently completing another angel round. PGI employs a strong blocking IP strategy and has filed for patents on proprietary technologies and trademarks having retained Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Black, Lowe & Graham.

We need a freelance graphic and web designer to:
Help us finalize an overall brand (colors, look/feel, style)
Re-design our face2face website with very intuitive, interactive and modern design especially keeping our competitors in mind (Gowalla, Foursquare, etc…)
Tweak and customize the current icons on the mobile UI
Concept design for future gaming elements within the application
All in all we need someone to create one look/feel for the brand, mobile app and the website.

COME DESIGN A GAME FOR US!!! Looking for creative mobile game designers.
Currently we are tweaking the look/feel of the application as well as the website and want to start building the game so we can make sure we design all the features together. We also have some exciting features coming up that are currently not in the application and we can tell you more about them. Some references to look at in the location based service realm include Foursquare, Gowalla, Loopt and Mytown to name a few.
