AOL’s business spans the Internet with online and local content, innovative products and valuable services for consumers, publishers and advertisers. This fall, we’re looking for a minimum of 6 curious, passionate and talented creative minds to work as Visual Design and User Experience Interns on some of our most well-renown and innovative sites:

AOL Lifestyles: AOL Lifestyles encompasses rapidly expanding and evolving sites such as Makers, Style Me Pretty, and KitchenDaily. These interns will work alongside the product team, predominantly at Stylelist, the #1 website in Fashion, Style and Beauty.

AOL Entertainment: TV? Movies? Music? Between Cambio, Moviefone and AOL TV, a brand new site dedicated to connecting TV users to shows they love–AOL Entertainment has it all. You’ll work with our product team as we redesign existing sites and build AOL TV from the ground up.

AOL Services: Working with the AOL design team, you’ll be reshaping the future of business like Mail, AIM, Search and What to expect: a growing and evolving design practice that is in a position to up AOL’s coolness factor.

Experiences may include:
• Partner with UX, Technology and Product Owners for UI/UX design and product initiatives
• Assist in creation of design assets site wide
• Collaborate with site editors to create exciting imagery for news and content
• Assist with Site QA, improvements and implementation

What we’re looking for:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university: Communication Design & Design & Technology Majors preferred
• Digital Portfolios strongly encouraged
• Experience using HTML, CSS
• Ability to work collaboratively with UX, Technology & Product Owners
• A passion for your craft and understanding of design patterns and practices
• A usability mindset
