The twentieth meeting of the NY Comics & Picture-story Symposium will be held on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at 7:30pm at Parsons The New School, 2 West 13th Street, in the Bark Room (ground floor lobby).
Scheduled presentation: Part 2 of a discussion about Charlie Hebdo, the French satirical weekly newspaper, whose publication of cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad led to a 2007 lawsuit and trial for “public insults against a group of people because they belong to a religion.” Free and open to the public.
