MFA DT faculty Colleen Macklin and John Sharp recently launched a website and interview series about creativity, failure and failing better called “Iterate: Perspectives on Design and Failure“. It features creative practitioners from a wide array of fields, including Miranda July, Baratunde Thurston, Alexis Lloyd, Jad Abumrad, Amelia Brodka, Wylie Dufresne, Cas Holman, and Nathalie Pozzi + Eric Zimmerman.

The series is part of a book currently under review at MIT Press.

It was co-created by Colleen Macklin and John Sharp and filmed, animated, and produced by three incredibly talented MFADT students: Shuangshuang Huo, ‘15 (cinematography and editing), Angelica S. Jang, ’15 (animation), and Gabrielle Patacsil ‘15 (Producer).
