Loop, Parsons’ sixth alumni exhibition, is an immersive, interactive experience highlighting cross-disciplinary, collaborative work across media. On view in the Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries and Parsons’ new Making Center at 66 Fifth Avenue from October 15-31, the show features work by more than 120 alumni from every program at the school. The work, displayed in a series of projected loops and in physical form, was selected by Parsons deans and program directors who were given exclusive access to the creative output of Parsons’ visionary graduates. In the process of making their selections, they developed a composite portrait of a multi-generational community of innovators in fields ranging from interactive, experiential design to fashion to urban design.
