Karin Fong directs and designs for film, television, and environments. Before joining Imaginary Forces (then RGA/LA) in 1994, she studied art at Yale and worked as an animator at WGBH Boston.

She has designed sequences for numerous feature films, including the main titles of Ray, Charlotte’s Web, The Truman Show, and The Pink Panther 2. Broadcast work includes the Emmy award-winning main titles for Masterpiece Collection’s American Collection, and sequences for MTV and Cartoon Network. Karin directs television commercials, counting Target, Chevrolet, Herman Miller, and Honda among her clients. Other projects include designing for large-scale environments that range from Las Vegas to the Los Angeles Opera. Her work has appeared in the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, The Pasadena Museum of California Art, The Wexner Center, and in numerous publications on design and film.

Personal work includes an art installation, comic-book story and collages based on unusual words. Karin has taught workshops at Art Center, RISD, CalArts, and has been a guest critic at Yale. She currently works out of the New York offices of Imaginary Forces.
