INTERNSHIP w/Artist (paid)

Established international artist seeks intern for photo- and video-related work.

Intern will work with a project manager on tasks including (but not limited to):

Scanning, retouching, and printing
Capturing, editing, and exporting of video
Updating and maintaining the physical and digital archives
Photography of new and existing artwork
Photography and videography of installations
Various administrative and projects-related tasks

Requirements:

Applicant must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently, especially on last-minute projects (we’re usually very busy!). He/she should be proficient or at least familiar with Adobe CS4, Final Cut Studio, Microsoft Office, and Filemaker Pro. Experience with Avid Media Composer is a plus but not necessary. Recent graduates or students pursuing a BFA in photo, film, or an arts-related field, or those with past experience working for professional photographers or videographers, are preferred.

Hours are flexible. At least 2 full days per week is desired, as is a 3 to 6 month commitment, to start.

Pay is to be determined. The internship may also be applied towards college credit.
