Toby Heys (Battery Operated) is looking for two interns to work with the research group, AUDiNT (Toby Heys, Steve Goodman, Jon Cohrs). You will be expected to work 2-3 afternoons a week for 4-6 weeks at Eyebeam. A strong interested in music, noise, and about the ways in which sound, ultrasound and infrasound can be used a weapon are important.

You will need to be a fairly rokkin illustrator / technical drawing person as a lot of your work will be helping with online research and helping fill in a map/archive of events where music and sound have been used by the military entertainment complex to psychologically and physiologically manipulate people. You will also assist in the installation of the final project into the ‘Art in General’ gallery in Manhattan from May 10th – May 20th. This is not a paid position. We will be able to give you music releases from Toby’s label (www.cocosolidciti.com) and Steve’s label (www.hyperdub.com) as thanks and hopefully you will get to learn some stuff you didn’t know before.
