AIR Projects, founded in 2011, creates unique, highly focused international residency opportunities for graduate level artists, designers and curators in the world’s most influential art centers, such as Beijing and Brooklyn.

APPLICATION NOW OPEN!

AIR Projects Beijing:
The Beijing Art Residency is designed to accommodate post-graduate artists working in a variety of creative disciplines. Individual objectives will be considered in the planning process, and shape the curriculum and activity during the month-long residency. The guest lectures and field trips are programmed to provide each resident group with a focused learning experience and create an engaging dialog. The residency studios, which have workspaces for up to 20 residents, will be available on the designated work days and will provide a central meeting point for all aspects of the program. Expert translators accompany all lectures and field trips when needed.

AIR Projects Brooklyn:
The Brooklyn art residency offers outstanding art professionals with a minimum BA or BFA degree the chance to engage with the New York art world, adding to their professional networks while making their own work in our conveniently located Brooklyn studio.

*APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR BOTH PROGRAMS: March 15th 2012
