This past week, Graphic Design 1 students visited The Cooper Hewitt to see the exhibition How Posters Work, curated by Ellen Lupton, to further their historical understanding of the graphic design field and to get some inspiration for an upcoming project. One highlight was The Immersion Room which uses digital technologies to let visitors explore and then project examples from the museums vast holdings of wallpaper. These beautiful photos were an unexpected outcome by Kokoro Naruke, a first semester AAS Graphic Design student, and her classmate, Hanyan Guo.
