Imaging on the Verge (IOV) is a gathering. It will be an exploration, a learning event, and a place for lively debates about teaching, about photography, about the future of both. It will be an opportunity for educators to do what we ask of our students: to think, to safely challenge each other during discussions about what photography, imaging and education should be in the 21st Century. Join us on October 4th for the first annual Imaging on the Verge event of panels, lectures and small meetings followed by a cocktail party.
We will be hosting four panels, beginning at 4:00 pm on Social Media; Copyright and Fair Use (which I will be presenting along with a colleague who specializes in Music) ; Teaching Photography in the 21st Century; and MultiMedia Production, followed by a cocktail party at B&H. There is a $20 fee, which all proceeds to be matched by B&H for a scholarship to a young photographer through the Young Photographers Alliance, another group that I work with.
