POSITION SUMMARY
IDEO.org is looking for a strategic and seasoned Design Director to co-lead our New York studio in partnership with a to-be-hired Managing Director. The Design Director and the Managing Director will partner to cultivate the creative culture of the studio, guide high impact design work, and lead multiple teams of rockstar designers with a variety of skill sets. This role is perfect for someone who is a practitioner of human-centered design, has a deep empathy and understanding of the craft of design, and is excited to be a leader to a growing team of top notch designers.
POSITION SUMMARY
IDEO.org is looking for a Managing Director to co-lead our New York studio in partnership with a to-be-hired Design Director. The Managing Director will join our team in the midst of an exciting phase of growth for the organization. You’ll partner with studio leadership to build strong design teams, nurture the studio’s creative culture, make sure we deliver high impact work to our partners, and most importantly, set the studio’s content and program strategy tackling domestic and international challenges, and then build the relationships to bring that strategy to life.
