The Company: You Tell Me, LLC is a small mobile app company focused on developing educational applications and a website for preschool through first grade children. We are currently developing a prototype of the library application to present to publishers and Departments of Education. You Tell Me has an educational Advisory Board, which includes speech and language specialists, educators and a Caldecott award-winning author. The goal of the company is to have their product used in schools, on computers and tablets. The winner of the contest will sign over their character for use by You Tell Me in exchange for an IPad 2 or the equivalent in cash.
Project Description: Your challenge is to create an image, capable of being animated, of your take on a modern day digital librarian (human, alien or inanimate). Use your imagination. It can be anything! The image must exude a lovable and enchanting quality, which will attract children ages 2 to 6 years of age worldwide and demonstrates the ability to draw them in.
Some adjectives that come to mind to describe this being would be: Cozy, Comfy, Engaging, Inviting, Magical and Warm.
