Local Bigwig seeks interns! Local Bigwig is a leading short-term home rental community connecting Homeowners looking to rent out their homes and Travelers seeking a unique, local travel experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone bright and motivated to make an impact and significantly contribute as a Graphic Designer, Photographer or Illustrator. Work extensively with IT and Brand Management teams to develop and execute projects.
Specific Responsibilities:
o Collaborate with Brand Management and IT to design and complete graphic pieces
o Create layout and spreads for various pages and sections of the website
o Capture photographic elements to reinforce brand positioning
o Help design and deployment of eNewsletters
o Understand effects of graphic communications and how they shape perceptions of the
Local Bigwig brand:
o Communicate issues, progresses and concerns on a frequent basis
Job Requirements:
o Passion to explore user-centered design ideas and online technologies
o Flexibility to adapt to changing trends of the business and/or strategic marketing initiatives
o Inquisitiveness and open mind about the travel accommodations industry
o Resourcefulness, loads of creativity and great interpersonal skills
o Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
o Some work experience would be ideal
