Recycle-A-Bicycle and The New School present this three-day national conference geared toward youth, bicycles, education, and advocacy.
February 15, 2013 – February 17, 2013 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m
On Friday February 15, the event will include a keynote address by Enrique Penalosa, former major of Bogota, Colombia and alternative transportation advocate, and a showcase of The New School’s bike-related student work as well as a free helmet giveaway, panel discussions and a design charrette. Various workshops are planned for Saturday and Sunday.
Friday’s event will be held at Wollman Hall, 65 West 11th Street, 5th floor. Saturday & Sunday’s location will be posted soon.
Event is free to all New School students, faculty and staff.
