TheSTASHBOX.com, a Lower East Side-based digital domain start up company (with funding) working to bridge the communicate gap between brands and consumers is seeking a well-rounded web designer to join our team.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology and design, self-motivated and ready to put their skill set to use as a TSB team member. With theSTASHBOX you will have the opportunity to be a part of a talented and diverse collaborative team that includes experts across a wide variety of fields including designers, technical experts, music and brand managers and other creative disciplines.

Your primary duties will include working with stakeholders and developers to implement and execute the designs for our site. The design work will be implemented in a ruby on rails web application using haml/sass and compass. Ruby/Rails/HAML/SASS experience is not required but would be a huge plus.

The following list of skills are required and expected for day-to-day work:
-HTML5
-CSS3
-JQUERY 1.4.2 (or later)
-UJS- unobtrusive JavaScript experience
-Photoshop/Illustrator in your possession for slicing images
-Flash experience

The following skills are not required but would be a tremendous addition:
-Ruby/Rails experience
-Compass/HAML/SASS
-Work within the US time zone (Eastern Standard Time)

Salary: $35,000-$45,000 per year with equity
