Flash/Flex Developers
About You:
ActionScript 3 – at least 1 year of experience
Flex background – at least 6 months working with Flex
Framework experience with PureMVC, Push Button Engine, Haxe or other AS Frameworks. Prefer at least 6 months of working experience with a framework, but if they should at least have worked to some degree with a framework.
Working knowledge of AMF
Experience working with back-end integration. Language is mostly irrelevant, but experience with any of: PHP + AMFPHP, Python + PyAMF, Ruby + RocketAMF is necessary.
Database experience, either with Mysql or any NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
Experience with Facebook API preferred. Candidate must at least have awareness of APIs for social sites.
Must have strong JSON, XML, AJAX, HTML and CSS background

About You:
Must have experience with Django – at least 6 months, prefer 1 year
Must have experience (at least 6 months) with Google App Engine based on the Python SDK

Strong Javascript (Jquery), CSS, HTML, AJAX background is preferred

Art Director
The art director at Fresh Planet will manage all of the visual design that happens across all of the company’s games. This includes overseeing the visual sensibility of the company as well as the unique needs of each individual title. It also means mentoring and managing the visual design team at the company.
Your responsibilities:
spearheading the visual identity of Fresh Planet as the company evolves
taking part in determining the visual direction of each individual game project at the company
creating processes for visual design research and visual production processes at the company
mentoring visual design staff to develop their skills and abilities
on some projects, playing a role as a dedicated production designer
seeking out and hiring visual design staff and interns for the company
working with management and senior staff in game design, production, programming to strategize company-wide production issues
general creative input on all projects and concepts at the company
Your profile:
a sophisticated pop visual sensibility that includes inflences from outside gaming
a history with and passion for game visuals and for playing games
comfort in all aspects of visual design, with a focus in one or more of the following areas: typography & graphic design, illustration and 2D animation, 3D graphics and animation
experience in creating visuals for interactive software projects
some familiarity with online and social network games
excellent verbal and written communication skills
strong people skills and the ability to work well on a diverse team
experience managing visual designers and art directing projects
comfort with a wide range of visual design tools and software
