The Fine Arts program will be participating in The College Art Association New York Area MFA Exhibition again this year at the Hunter College/Times Square Gallery. This exhibition runs concurrently with the CAA Annual Conference in New York and presents work by students currently enrolled in MFA programs in the Greater New York area. This marks the seventh time that Hunter College will host this expansive exhibition, a survey of work from over 20 institutions within a hundred-mile radius of New York City. In an effort to maximize visibility, this exhibition will run for two months, February 9th-April 9th.
The gallery is located at 451 West 41st Street.
The opening to the public is scheduled for Friday, Februay 11, 6-9pm.
More than 1000 visitors are expected to attend the exhibition from all over the country during the run of conference, taking place from February 9-13.
The show is being guest-curated by Carin Kuoni, Director of the Vera List Center for Art and Politics.
Show runs from Feb. 9-Apr. 9th.
